Catherine Githae is a Program Manager at the Men Engage Kenya Network (MENKEN). Her work over the last 12 years has involved engaging men and boys in the promotion of gender equality, positive fatherhood, sexual and reproductive health and prevention of GBV. She has adapted several training tools on Gender Norms, GBV and HIV Prevention and Male Engagement. Ms. Githae is a vocal gender equality advocate who has participated in various legal reforms and policy development such as the Protection against Domestic Violence Act (2015) and Rules of Procedure (2020) and Her Excellency the First Lady’s 2nd Strategic Framework (2018-2022).
