Head of Department, National Strategic Public Health Programs @ Ministry of Health
Dr. Nazila Ganatra is the Head of Department, National Strategic Public Health Programs, at the Ministry
of Health, Kenya. As a leader and an accomplished strategist, she coordinates activities across the National
Strategic Public Health Programs, which includes the Divisions of National Malaria Program (DNMP),
National Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Lung Disease Program (NTLD), National AIDS and STI’s Control Programme
(NASCOP), and National Vaccines and Immunization Programme (NVIP).
With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Nazila has established herself as an authority in Health Management. She
possesses extensive knowledge and expertise across functions in clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical regulation,
supply chain management, governance and health systems strengthening and policy formulation. Dr. Nazila holds
a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm.), a master’s degree in Health Supply Chain Management, as well as a
masters in business administration (MBA).
