• 2 years as Director Governor’s Press Service, Mombasa County
• Currently Director Gender Affairs, Mombasa County;
• Implementing policy and legislation frameworks for gender development in the County
• Taking lead in the formulation of the Mombasa County SGBV and Gender Mainstreaming Policies.
• Chairlady – Mombasa County GBV TWG whose core mandate is to support a comprehensive and coordinated approach to SGBV, including prevention, care and support, and efforts to hold perpetrators accountable and address SGBV through a survivor-centered and rights-based
• Co-Chair – Women in Leadership TWG implementing (Advancing Gender Equality through CSOs (AGECS), a 5-year project to 2025 promoting gender equality by providing capacity strengthening for CSOs working on gender equality and women’s empowerment.
