Chairperson of the KNCHR whose mandate is to protect and promote Human Rights in Kenya. She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg, South Africa; . She served as the Vice Chairperson of the Judges Magistrates and Vetting Board. She is a nationally recognised expert in gender, governance, policy and human rights. She has been specially recognised by the East Africa Law Society, a regional organisation, for distinguished legal practice and service as well as by the state leading to her award with the Head of State Commendation.
